Deep Water Exercise Back to Basics: Step and Lo-Impact
Yoga Interdisciplinary (Vigorous) Ripples
AB Lab Aqua Extreme
Global Groove Yoga Vigorous (1.5 hrs)

Deep Water Exercise: 
All body impact with the ground has been removed in this deep water workout performed with floatation belts and other specialized equipment. You choose your own moderate to vigorous excercise intensity during activities designed to increase aerobic capacity and muscular endurance. With so much fun going on, you don't notice the work!
Back to Basics: Step and Lo-Impact: 
Looking for a class that covers the basic movement patters and terminology of step and traditional floor aerobics? Here it is! Perfect for those beginning a new exercise program or trying step or lo-impact for the first time!
Yoga Interdisciplinary (Vigorous): 
This is a brand new Yoga class which combines several disciplines. Please note the Vigorous nature of this class. For more information, call Wellness at 255-3886 and subscribe to the list-serve YOGA-L (instructions here).
Ripples: 
Gentle movement in shallow water is ideal for relieving joint pain or beginning a new exercise program. A great aerobic, muscular endurance, and joint flexibility session of low to moderate intensity in a comfortable, relaxed environment.
AB Lab: 
The AB Lab takes place in the dance studio and follows a cardio based class. Maximize your ab training with exercises for the entire torso! Exercises include a variety of body positions, muscle contractions, ranges of motion, and equipment. You'll never want to do another boring crunch again!
Aqua Extreme: 
So you think you can only get a good workout on land? Well think again! This high energy, cross-training workout includes intense sports drills using medicine balls, elastic tethers, and more. Extreme action! Extreme fun!
Global Groove: 
It's time to groove 'n' move! You may find a little bit of jazz, latin, ballet, and hip-hop in this class! Add some flair to your everyday moves! No dance experience needed. Come and get your groove thing on!
Yoga Vigorous (1.5 hrs):

Knockout Workout: 
You will see yourself jabbing, blocking, kicking, and sweating in this total body workout. This class combines boxing and kickboxing type movements with aerobic dance and interval training for a challenging change of pace. 
Step 'N' Strike: 
A high energy class that combines STEP and kickboxing. Step Choreography with a variation of punches, blocks, and kicks will challenge your strength, balance, coordination and cardiovascular system!
Cardio Combo: 
A combination of Step, low impact, and toning. Some days it will be one or the other, some days it will be a little of each, and there will always be some toning included. 
Advanced Boxing:
A "real" boxer will teach you "real" boxing techniques! You will be performing conditioning drills, footwork drills, proper punching combinations, and rope work. Train the fighter in you... without the fight!
Expecting Fitness: 
This class is designed with the prenatal/postpartum woman in mind. This class includes cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility and relaxation exercises for all major muscle groups to prepare you for the joys of motherhood.  Your physician's approval is necessary.
Tai Chi:
An ancient Chinese system of movement which improves health, mental focus, grace, agility, stamina and self defense. The 12:10 class covers the sets from the beginning and you must enroll in advance.  The 4:30 class is less structured, drop-ins are welcome any time.
Muscle Conditioning: 
Put a little muscle into your workout and join us for a class to build  muscle endurance and tone your entire body. Weights, bands and steps will be used during this class. There is no cardio portion in this class, but it will be hard to resist. 
Water Aerobics:
Workout with a splash! Due to water's unique properties this class can both improve your cardiovascular fitness through low impact activity, and enhance your muscle endurance. See you there! 
Jazzercise:
This class combines the total body conditioning benefits of aerobics with the fun of dance. Classes are taught by a certified Jazzercise instructor who will lead the participants in the latest choreography by Jazzercise founder Judi Sheppard Missett.
Yoga:
We offer three styles of yoga - Kripalu, Svaroopa and Iyengar.  All classes consist of breathing exercises, yoga postures and deep relaxation.    Our listserv is YOGA-L. Join us! 
Yoga Basics:
If you are new to yoga, this class is for you. The basic elements of yoga, such as alignment, breathing, concentration, and postures, will be taught with the novice in mind.
Intro to Tae Kwon Do:
This ten-week introductory class is designed to provide a cooperative, non-competitive learning environment to explore martial arts and basic self defense. Registration is required. Call Debbie at 255-5133 for more information.
Guided Meditation: 
Come find a peaceful oasis of relaxation and stress relief from your demanding, fast-paced life. This class will allow you to experience a state of restful awareness. The experience will enliven your creativity, intelligence, dynamism, and orderliness to promote health, healing, and spiritual growth.
Tae Kwon Do:
This is a form of Korean Martial Art. The instructors emphasize introduction to techniques and practice methods that won't over stress joints, but through practice will lead to effective self defense tools.
Step: 
This class uses the STEP to increase intensity and give you an excellent workout. If done properly, step is very low impact, but increases the heart rate to give you a training effect. Includes abs and low back strengthening portion at the end of the aerobic session.
NIA (Neuromuscular Integrative Action): 
This movement blends concepts from dance, Tai Chi, 
Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, and Yoga. It emphasizes alignment of the pelvis, hips, shoulders, and head, while inviting fluidity of movement, creativity, and most important, FUN! 
Power Dance Step: 
This class gives you the opportunity to learn some great new dance moves while stepping! No dance experience necessary... just the desire to have fun while getting a great workout.
HiLo
This multi-impact class is perfect for anyone who enjoys traditional floor aerobics. You choose the impact level; both high and low will be demonstrated, but the intensity is what you make it.
Step Stronger:
Looking for a balanced combination of step and muscle conditioning? This is your class! This class will include approximately 40 minutes on the step and 30 minutes of resistance training for an excellent overall workout. The total class length is 90 minutes.
Sports Conditioning:
This class uses sports drills to condition the body. The drills are set up interval style where a drill is taught, performed at a high intensity, and then participants recover before the next high intensity drill. It's fast paced, fun, and will take you back to the days of team practice!
Combat Cardio:
This class combines a great cardio workout and the offensive movements of practical self-defense. Build you fitness level while learning fighting tactics to defend yourself!
HiLo Plus
This multi-impact class is perfect for anyone who enjoys traditional floor aerobics. You choose the impact level; both high and low will be demonstrated, but the intensity is what you make it. At the end of this extended class, there will be resistance training and core conditioning.
