Arm Stretches

Biceps

To begin this stretch: To stretch:
  • Place hand outstretched in front of you on the wall or pole.
  • Take a shoulder width stance with the same side leg as you are stretching directly in front of the pole or wall.
  • Turn your whole body and face the opposite side.
  • You will now be facing away from the arm on the wall.
  • Stop turning your whole body when you feel a slight stretch in your biceps.

Triceps

To begin this stretch: To stretch:
  • Stand with feet shoulder width apart
  • Take one hand place it above your head and then bend your elbow and place it behind your back.
  • With the other hand place it above your head and then on top of the bent elbow.
  • Pull down on the bent elbow slightly untill you feel a stretch in your triceps.

Forearm

To begin this stretch: To stretch:
  • Kneel down on the ground with your fingers pointed away and underneath your shoulder.
  • Keep your back straight.
  • Rotate your hands so that your fingers are pointed toward you.
  • Slowly lower yourself to your heels until you feel a slight stretch in your forearms.
